Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications accrediting levels of competence and command of the Spanish language, issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain. This test, which requires a strong training in its specific format, is divided into different levels, which certify different grades of competency in the language: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2.
After assessing your language level, the coordinators of Uruguay Academy will recommend which of the tests to sit and together you’ll develop a preparation plan, according to your availability and needs. Classes are individual and in them you will work in detail on the official characteristics of the diploma, as well as on different types of activities to develop necessary skills, integrating reading, writing, listening and speaking with practice exercises focusing on grammar and vocabulary. Importantly, all the courses for DELE preparation are held on the basis of models of real past papers as well as books specifically engineered to effectively pass the assessment. Moreover, sitting the DELE exam is not restricted to Montevideo (Academia Uruguay is an official test center), with the training provided by Academia Uruguay, you can easily sit it in other parts of the world.
