Montevideo, along with her sister city Buenos Aires, is a privileged place for lovers of tango due to the number of orchestras, shows, milongas and neighbourhoods related to the intimate spirit of this musical genre.

Many students take the Academia Uruguay experience as a chance to dive into the world of this captivating dance by adding to their language classes, dance classes to learn the basics of tango or to hone their dancing skills. We offer you to broaden your experience and enhance your Group Spanish with group dance classes (3 times per week) with the most renowned tango teachers in the best schools of the city. If you cannot attend the predetermined lesson times or you’d prefer to take individual classes to suit your timetable, we can coordinate and budget for these classes for you.
