Host Families
Living with a Uruguayan host family is far more than a simple housing solution — it is a direct gateway into the country’s everyday life. Sharing meals, conversations, and household routines allows you to practice Spanish naturally, absorb typical Río de la Plata expressions, and understand the culture from the inside. You will receive a key to the apartment and have the full freedom to organize yourself as you see fit.
We know each host family in detail and maintain close, regular contact with them. We match students with families based on age, interests, and any special requirements (diet, accessibility, etc.). In most homes, bathrooms and kitchens are shared. Dinner, when included in the chosen plan, is served six nights per week.
